Spotlight on FBLA

By: Paul Mayberry

FBLA is a club at Richmond High School that has been around for some time and has had many students participate in it. It is an organization that helps students get experience in the business community. As a member, students go to monthly meetings, where there is a new aspect of business to learn about every time.

Members can sign up to participate in certain tests that demonstrate your knowledge in specific fields of business such as Agricultural-Business, Business-Law, etc. If you are successful, you can compete in district and state tests.

Each meeting, held on the third Thursday of each month, discusses different aspects of business, competitive tests, and details of the next field trip or activity that FBLA will hold. It is a great opportunity if you are interested in the business world and want some insight into the industry.

If interested in joining, turn in $20 to Mrs. Cole in Room 2. The deadline is October 1st.
