Scholarship Listings

     For those of you who are wanting to get a head start on getting funding for college, there are many scholarships out there that you can apply for. Some scholarships are as follows:

     The Fine-Tune Your Mind Scholarship: This scholarship is for incoming freshmen for college or already enrolled college students. All majors are able to apply. According to their website, this scholarship is for “all hardworking college students who fearlessly chase their dreams without the use of nonmedical prescription stimulants.” This scholarship is worth $1,000 and is due December 31. https://www.cognitune.com/scholarship/

     The Comedy Defensive Driving Scholarship: This scholarship is for anyone planning on going to college or is already enrolled in college. To apply, you create some sort of advertisement on how to drive safely (no texting and driving, no drinking and driving, etc.) These advertisements can be in the form of a video, song, poster, etc. This is worth $1,000 and the deadline to apply is December 31. https://comedydefensivedriving.com/scholarships

     The Simple Texting Scholarship: This scholarship is for any high school senior planning on attending college or a student already enrolled in college. To apply, you must submit an 800 words or less essay explaining how cell phones have positively impacted your life and the positive aspects of texting.      The Helpteaching.com Scholarship: This scholarship is for high school students or college students. To apply, you must submit a short story between 400 and 800 words or an information article for children.
