Teacher Spotlight: Kevin Jermain

      Coach Kevin Jermain went to high school at Jefferson High School. He played softball, basketball, ran track and field, and was involved with NHS and FBLA. He went to college at Northwest Missouri State University where he received his bachelors in Social Science Education and then William Woods where he received his Masters in Secondary Administration. Coach Jermain has been a teacher for 12 years, the past two at RHS. He has previously taught American Government, World Geography, and Contemporary Issues. He currently teaches AP US History and American History. Coach Jermain is the boys basketball coach for RHS and has been for the two years he’s been here. He’s been a coach for 12 years.

     Coach Jermain enjoys being outdoors, watching sports, and spending time with his family. He’s married to Rachel Jermain and they have two sons, Shea and Tray. When asked if he had anything interesting to share, he said he has two brothers who are also coaches and if they combined the total years of them all coaching it would equal 60 years. Also, he graduated in a class of 12. Coach Jermain’s favorite thing about RHS is “the support from the staff and administration.”
