Senior Spotlight: Brandon Hendricks

By: Lennon Puls

Brandon Hendricks has lived in Richmond for about twelve years. He enjoys participating in tennis, band, and key club. He also is the manager for the girls’ tennis team. His favorite thing about band is being able to “really get into the music during concert season.” He also enjoys tennis because of the matches and all-day tournaments. He says, “It is a great way to bond with your teammates and makes tennis all the more fun.”

After high school, Brandon plans to attend Penn Valley for two years and then later transfer to a university. He wants to study to become a nurse anesthetist, saying, “My interest in this is because of my dad with his situation. He really inspired me to help others who can’t help themselves, or just need a little assistance to get back on track.” He hopes that one day he can move back to Texas, where he spent the first few years of his life. He likes the idea because, “It may be hot, but that means there wouldn’t be any snow or crazy weather like we have here.” No matter where Brandon lives, he has a bright future of helping others ahead of him, and RHS wishes him good luck in all that he does.
