Teacher Spotlight: Mrs. Jill Pence

      Mrs. Jill Pence attended Marshall High School. She participated in Drill Team, played Volleyball, and was involved with Future Teachers of America. She attended college at University of Central Missouri where she got her Undergraduates and Masters in English. She was a part of a sorority and the English Honor Society.
     This is her 34
th year teaching at RHS; she’s taught English 9-11, Honors English 11, Creative Writing, Novels, Contemporary Literature, ACT Prep, Vocational English, and Duel Credit Comp 1 and 11. She’s currently the A+ coordinator, and when she was a full time teacher, she was a class sponsor, cheer coach, drill team coach, and a sponsor for Student Council.
     Mrs. Pence enjoys reading, knitting, and antiquing. She has two dogs, Pepper and Percy, and three cats, Keeper, Kilty, and Toonce. Two interesting things to know about her are that she enjoys making craft projects and she has an excellent memory! Her favorite part about teaching is the students, she says “My classes are the best!”
