End of Year Reminders

By: Emilee Cline

It may not seem like it but the end of the school is getting closer and closer but the year is not over yet so don’t start slacking off just because you’re almost done. Here are just a few reminders. If you are planning on going to college make sure to not miss important dates such as dorm room deposits, you want this to be a smooth transition so don’t put it off until the last minute. Also, if you are going to prom this year be looking for your dress, shoes, tux, and all things you want to get. Along with prom, if you plan to get your makeup and/or nails done make your appointments early! This way you won’t get stuck waking up at early to get hair done 11 hours early just to watch it all fall before you get the chance to take pictures.

The most important thing to not forget is that your grades still matter! They matter until you walk across that stage on graduation. Schools will look at your GPA and your attendance so don’t start missing a bunch of days, we all know school can get a little tiring but it is still important. Also, on that note of graduation. If you plan on having a party start thinking of venues and your colors for decorations, if you plan on having some. I’m not saying you have to have it all set in stone right now but it’s nice to have ideas so when the day is here you aren’t blank about what you want for a party, if you even want one. Lastly, and it may not seem like it but it will be spring season soon so that brings baseball, track, golf, and tennis. So please even though the school year is almost done, don’t forget to go out and support your peers and cheer on your school!
