Teacher Spotlight: Nick Persell

      Coach Nick Persell is married to his wife Morgan and they have three children; Carson, Brady, and Mila. Coach Persell enjoys spending time with his family. He said, “If I wasn’t a teacher, I’d run my own food truck.” He’s also an avid crossword solver. Coach Persell attended Richmond High School, during high school he played football, basketball, and baseball. He attended William Jewell College where he got his double major in Mathematics and Secondary Education. During college, Coach Persell played football.

     Coach Persell is in his 8th year of teaching, three years at RHS and has been a football and baseball coach for 3 years. He has taught Algebra 1 and 2, Geometry, and ACT Prep. He says his favorite thing about teaching at RHS is “teaching at the same place I graduated from.”
