Welcome and Thank You

Welcome to the Richmond R-XVI School District
and the Second Semester!

Our website gives you a glimpse of daily life at each of our schools.  Look around.  You’ll see that our teachers, administrators, and staff are committed to providing a safe and nurturing learning environment for our students by providing the best learning opportunities for students. Our strong community is a point of pride.  We strive to instill in our students the foundations necessary to go out into the world as lifelong learners, well prepared for success in their lives.

Click on the tabs at the top of this page and you’ll see that we offer a rich educational experience that combines academic, social, artistic, athletic and extra-curricular elements to help each student develop to his or her fullest potential.  And, you’ll see many ways that parents can be involved as well.

Throughout this website you will find information about the special programs both academic and extracurricular, that set our preschool, full-day kindergarten, elementary and junior high school programs apart from other schools in the region.  You’ll get the chance to briefly meet our dedicated teachers and you’ll find school calendars and building announcements to keep you on top of all that is going on in each school.

We look forward to getting to know you and to learn how we can serve you and your family.  If you have any questions, please contact us. We thank our current parents for entrusting their children to our care and we look forward to welcoming new families to our school community in the near future!

A major accomplishment of our High School has been their recognition as a Bronze Level School with the US News and World Report.  Congratulations to the entire faculty, student body and administration at RHS for this honor!

We have just completed our first semester and look forward to another successful second-half of our school year.

Congratulations and Best Wishes
