Welcome and Thank You

Welcome to the Richmond R-XVI School District!

The Richmond R-XVI School District, located just east of the Kansas City Metro, is in Ray County, Missouri.  We serve students in the communities of Richmond, Henrietta, Rayville, Camden, Knoxville, and Millville. Our district has four schools. Dear Elementary School includes the Pre-school Program, Kindergarten, and First Grade. Sunrise Elementary School educates students in Second, Third, Fourth, and Fifth Grades. Richmond Middle School includes our Sixth, Seventh, and Eighth Grades. Richmond Senior High School includes Ninth, Tenth, Eleventh, and Twelfth Grades. This year the district will serve approximately 1,500 students.

The Richmond R-XVI School District has a proud history of graduates who have gone on to major universities and later on to successful careers in their chosen profession.
