A couple of reminders for tonight's Varsity Football game vs. Holden:
- Tonight is Senior Night. Senior recognitions will begin at 6pm!
- K-8th grade students will not be allowed in without a parent/guardian. They should stay with that parent/guardian throughout the game.
Again, although we do not have any information that corroborates this post, we wanted to make sure you are of the situation and assure you that we take all types of threats seriously in partnership with our police and sheriff's departments.
Several metropolitan school districts were identified in a Snapchat post over the weekend as well. No specific threat towards the Richmond School District has been confirmed, but we feel it is important to have law enforcement officers on site at each of our buildings tomorrow, Wed, Sept 11 and beyond if necessary.
Spartan Families: The Richmond R-XVI School District just received a message from Courage to Report about a Snapchat post that identified Richmond, Lathrop, Lawson, Lexington, Kansas City Public schools and two other Kansas City metro school buildings that were possibly on a list to be targeted for school shootings.

Dear Elementary Parents - Due to forecasted weather, we are MOVING Dear's Field Day from Thursday, May 16th to Monday, May 20th. Monday's and Thursday's lunch choices will be flipped to accommodate.
Reminder: Graduation will be held outside, doors will open at 5:00pm. Ceremony will begin at 6:30pm.

Track districts this Saturday (5/4) will be in Plattsburg.
Parents and patrons: This morning, the Richmond High School is participating in a pre-scheduled emergency safety docudrama event in coordination with the Richmond Police Department, Richmond Fire Department and MO Hwy Patrol. Emergency vehicles, safety equipment, along with emergency personnel are incorporated in this event.
Dear Elementary Parents - Fall Family Night is TONIGHT from 5-7pm. Come visit the book fair in the library, snacks in the cafeteria and fun activities in the gym!
Are our vo-tech students will still be transported to Lex La Ray today as normal.
Due to an unexpected water main break that has left building facilities inoperable, the Richmond R-XVI Schools will be releasing students this morning on the following schedule:

Due to forcasted weather, Dear Elementary's Field Day is postponed to Wednesday, May 17th. There is a menu change for Monday. #1 Choice is Chicken Patty.
